A piece from Daniel Bailey is made using methods that have changed little for over a hundred years. Creating a piece takes as long as it takes to earn the Daniel Bailey stamp. There are no production schedules here. 

The leather is shown the respect is deserves as a unique medium. The leathers display the natural characteristics of each hide and develop character with age. Each piece is stitched by hand using the famously durable saddle stitch. 

Place matters too. Our studio is located in a converted forge in the heart of Northamptonshire, the home of English leather. There is time to think here, and to dwell over beautiful craftsmanship for you.
